Feeling in the mood for Italian food

Our realtor and now good friend Sarah and her husband are coming over for dinner so I thought I would whip up some Italian food- its the perfect weather for pasta and bread since it is a bit chilly outside (13F yipes).  The course I always think about first is dessert- pizzelles stuffed with vanilla flavored whipped cream. Next up, pasta with vodka sauce and a winter salad. I am looking forward to a cozy evening.
