I have noticed there are always a few standard items you see in a designer kids room: an
eames rocking chair, a
designer crib and apparently a tepee (!!!). I hadn't thought about tepees for years, until my
downstairs neighbors on 1820 ordered a tepee for their loft- they figured their friends could sleep in the tepee when visiting- what a brilliant idea. The tepee however didn't last long- it ended up being too small but the idea stuck in my head. In a kids room it seems it could become the ultimate collector of toys and anything messy- in our house it would end up as a storage chest. A very very cute storage chest. tepee's are awesome! It's the ultimate kid dream...I used to always want one. I don't know why I stopped dreaming about having one. Thanks for reminding me about my inner child...
