| Before Paint: muted yellow |
It has been a while since I have tackled a house project. Yesterday, I decided to paint the hallway (I am not done yet- I only managed to paint 2 out of the 5 walls). We decided on a dark blue in the entry way, it is looking good and a big change from the muted yellow that was on the walls previously. I thought, since it is a dark color, I could get away with a single coat of paint. I was WRONG! It needed 3 coats. I think it works well with the graphite pattern in the rug and gives the entry way a cozy and inviting feeling. Now, all I have to do is get in the mood to finish the last walls.
