Friday was -yet again- a beautiful summer-like day. We went to the Kansas City zoo with some friends. Thankfully, no animals escaped this time around. We toured Africa and Australia, had some ice cream and the little one fell asleep in the car on the way home. A fun and successful day. If you happen to be a Jackson or Clay county resident, you are in luck and you can enjoy a great discount on your entry into the park. I would highly recommend upgrading to the platinum package so you can enjoy all the rides for free (includes train, tram, carousel, African sky and safari boat).
